Amax Caregivers is proud to have received certification from the California Association of Health Services at Home (CAHSAH)—considered a leading statewide home care association in the United States. CAHSAH’s highly regarded Home Care Aide Organization Certification Program requires that we submit evidence of having met the Certification Standards for Home Care Aide Organizations.
Our certification by CAHSAH ensures that the following requirements have been met:
- Our caregivers are employees of our agency and not independently hired contractors
- We carry workers’ compensation, liability insurance, and an employee dishonesty bond
- Our caregivers undergo a thorough background check
- We screen our caregivers for tuberculosis
